Green Bean Tomato sauté

  • 2 servings
  • 1 cup snapped beans ( about ½ pound)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Water
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes or chopped regular tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped ham or bacon
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Pepper to taste ( fresh ground)

Cook beans 3-4 minutes in boiling water then drain
Heat oil and butter add beans, tomatoes, and ham/bacon.
Cook on medium heat for 2 – 3 minutes Stir often
Add soy and cook 1 more minute season with pepper serve immediately
