Green Bean Tomato sauté - 2 servings
- 1 cup snapped beans ( about ½ pound)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Water
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes or chopped regular tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chopped ham or bacon
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Pepper to taste ( fresh ground)
Cook beans 3-4 minutes in boiling water then drain Heat oil and butter add beans, tomatoes, and ham/bacon. Cook on medium heat for 2 – 3 minutes Stir often Add soy and cook 1 more minute season with pepper serve immediately Cooking with children by Marion Cunningham
