Beets in Sour Cream

  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup sour cream

  • Combine beets, butter, sugar, salt and lemon juice in a sauce pan.   Cover and cook 20 minutes.  Stir occasionally.  Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.    Serves 4
